Located in the Bradbury Estates community in San Gabriel Valley, this massive modern style mansion kicks off our list with some impressive features.

The estate is complete with a 3-D movie theatre, 2,000 bottle wine cellar and underground firing range where you can test your gun skills for the zombie apocalypse.

One of the most impressive features of this home include the amazing landscaped gardens and massive swimming pool located at the rear.

This $79 Million Dollar mansion was previously owned by Edie Goetz, the daughter of MGM founder Louis B Mayer.

The home was a regular use for glitzy Hollywood parties and features an art-deco bar, large private library and amazing landscaped gardens.

The 26,623 square foot home is surrounded by a golf course and country club and features numerous bedrooms and bathrooms.

The property is set over 60,000 square feet and its design features a set of unique pavilions.

This 9,710-square-foot apartment that is said to cover 7 floors has been shrouded in secrecy, so much so that currently no pictures of the inside exist.

Let it be known however that once the Pinnacle goes on sale it will be one of the most sought after properties in the city and possibly one of the most sought after penthouses in the world.

Xanadu 2.0 needs no introduction as it is the current home of Microsoft founder Bill Gates and is thought to have cost around $120.5 Million dollars to build.

The 66,000-square-foot mansion is noted for its design and the technology it incorporates is thought to be some of the most sophisticated in the world.

A high-tech sensor system helps guests monitor a room’s climate and lighting and the house uses its natural surroundings to reduce heat loss.

The pool features its own underwater music system and there is even a trampoline room with a 20ft ceiling.

There are 24 bathrooms, a 200 person reception hall, six kitchens, an enormous library, 20 seat movie theatre and private dock.

The 1900 square foot guest house is also thought to have the same kind of technology as the main house.

Located in Santa Barbara, California this this monstrous compound has been on the market since 2014 and is thought to have a price tag of around $125 Million dollars.

It features ten cottages, horse stables, and fields of citrus and avocado trees with the main house covering 10,000 square feet.

The public rooms of the home feature wood panelling and the 11,250 square foot covered riding area was built in 1930.

With an eye watering asking price of £130 Million Dollars, this is one of New York Cities most expensive homes.

Encompassing a massive 62,000-square feet it features a 62-foot indoor swimming pool, tennis and squash courts, an IMAX screening room, a wine cellar, a full spa, and a card room.

There is also a private riverfront garden, 15,000-square foot bedroom level with a giant master suite and a level designated entirely to staff.

And with the property located in the centre of Manhattan, you have access to everything the city has to offer, that is if you can afford around $2100 per square foot.

Currently one of the most expensive mansions in the popular beach location of the Hampton’s, it is thought to be valued at $140 Million dollars.

The main house covers 10,000 square feet, while the added guest house covers 3500 square feet
.Outside you can find a tennis court, pool, hot tub, plus a private pond, woodlands, and landscaped lawns with picturesque gardens.

Located just off the coast of Connecticut, is this massive island property listed at $175 million dollars and is just a thirty minute drive from Manhattan.

The tropical style mansion boasts a gorgeous waterfront view and is one of the older properties on our list.

Great Island is connected to the mainland by a land bridge and features stunning views of Long Island Sound.

There’s a private beach, yacht basin, and several smaller houses on the island, which is just 55 minutes drive from Manhattan.

Thought to be worth around $195 million dollars and located in Florida, this mansion boasts 33 bedrooms and 47 bathrooms, and was once home to twentieth century socialite Gloria Guinness.

The mansion was built in the 1940s and covers an area of around 63,000 square feet.

Other amenities on the complex include a world-class botanic garden, with over 1,500 species of tropical trees and plants and a PGA-standard golf practice area.

There is also a sports complex featuring a regulation tennis court, half basketball court, playground, and miniature golf course and for the kids… a Robinson Crusoe-style tree house.

Quite possibly one of the most famous manor houses in the United States, the former Spelling manor as it was named at the time is valued at $200 Million Dollars.

The home and surrounding estate was built for TV producer Aaron Spelling and his wife Candy in 1988 and is thought to contain 122 rooms.

Now simply called “The Manor”, it also features a screening room, gym, bowling alley, three rooms for wrapping presents, four two-car garages, tennis court, and a swimming-pool.

The parking lot accommodates 100 vehicles, and there are also 16 carports on-site.

The mansion comes with 12 bedrooms, Turkish baths and parking for 20 cars and was once owned by Berne Ecclestone, head of the Formula One racing series.

And if you think that’s extravagant then you also have access to a fitness centre, two wine-champagne cellars, the most advanced home theatre in any United States home, and even an 85-foot infinity pool.

The mansion is aimed at a new type of successful global billionaires who desire state of the art technology and spacious living.

Officially at the time of publication, the most expensive penthouse in the world goes to the La Tour Odeon penthouse in Monaco with a price tag of $355 Million Dollars.

Set atop a massive skyscraper, this penthouse has everything billionaires could ever dream of including an infinity pool with attached water-slide, health centre, 24/7 concierge service and a private chauffeur.

The penthouse covers five floors in total and includes 32,000 square feet of living space in a town where just over 90 square feet can sell for over $1 Million Dollars.

So what does $750 Million dollars buy you on the South Coast of France?

Your answer is this massive French Riviera style Villa that was once a WWI military hospital and the set for Alfred Hitchcock’s 1955 film, To Catch a Thief.

The house is currently owned by Lily Safra, who inherited the villa after her husband’s death.

The estate is spread over two guest houses that sit on 20 acres of grounds with countless olive, cypress and lemon trees taken care by 50 gardeners.

There are 19 luxurious bedrooms inside main house and other features include huge bathrooms, antique furnishings, walk-out terraces, and fireplaces.
