Microsoft’s new Console, the XBOX ONE X has a release date set for 7th November 2017, with 6 terraflops of graphical power, 4K gaming and life-like game-play, that’s why Vidello Productions is taking a look at 17 Amazing Games Coming To Microsoft Xbox One X.

17 – StarWars Battlefront 2

Officially Available on the 17th November 2017, StarWars Battlefront 2 will allow you to Forge a new path as Iden Versio, commander of Inferno Squad.

The game features an emotionally gripping new campaign that spans over 30 years and bridges events between the films’ Star Wars Return of the Jedi and Star Wars The Force Awakens.

The game allows up to 40 players to fight as iconic heroes, features authentic-to-era troopers and a massive array of vehicles on land and in the air all as battle rages through the galaxy.

Space combat has been designed for Star Wars Battlefront II from the ground up with distinct handling, weapons and customization options, allowing you to team up with others and take down massive capital ships.

The game also allows you to play as Jedi so don’t worry if you want to hack people to bits with a light-sabre.

Customisable troopers, 2 player offline split screen play and the ability to bring your upgrades on the on-line battlefield make this one of our favorite games to look forward to for the Xbox One X.

16 – FIFA 18

In what has now become an almost ritual for Xbox players, this years FIFA game is set for release on the 29th September 2017.

Details of the game are still very under wraps, however the graphics appear to have had an overhaul and are powered by the Frostbite engine and stadiums appear to have had a visual upgrade.

EA describe the game as bluing the line between the virtual and real worlds, bringing to life the heroes, teams and atmospheres of the world’s game.

What we do know is that the Ronaldo Version of the game will feature Three days early Access, 20 Jumbo Premium Gold Packs, a 5-match Cristiano Ronaldo loan item and 8 special edition FIFA Ultimate Team kits.

The ICON edition features 40 Jumbo Premium Gold Packs and an extra 5-match Ronaldo Nazario loan item.

15 – Crackdown 3

Having been rumored and talked about for years, the live action trailer for this game has finally been revealed at E3.

The video shows some impressive game-play features including explosives, heavy weapons, and robots with special guest Terry Cruise making an appearance.

The game was originally announced at E3 2014 however Microsoft has since revamped the games single player mode to avoid using cloud computing meaning that large scale destruction will only be available in Multiplayer.

The game is set for launch on the same day as the Xbox One X, November 7th 2017.

14 – Cuphead

Launching on September 29th, Cuphead is a classic animation inspired platform game being released by developing studio MDHR.

Another game that was announced 3 years ago at E3 2014, this title has had several push-backs but now appears to be ready to launch.

Featuring hand-drawn animations and what looks to be an interesting combat system, Xbox One X players will surely be looking to buy this title.

13 – Super Lucky’s Tale

Coming to Xbox One as an exclusive on November 7th, this platform game was originally set on Oculus Rift as Lucky’s Tale.

This time round however we see no VR and instead, a platform game that lets you jump around beautiful worlds and collect coins.

The game will also feature animated characters, mood lighting and some very detailed 3D environments.

It would appear that some of these worlds may be open to exploration and the game certainly makes use of the upgraded graphical power of the Xbox One X

12 – Anthem

Another highly anticipated game that was revealed at E3 2017 was Bioware’s Anthem, a game that appears to focus on a post apocalyptic society.

The game originally went under the code-name Dylan, and, according to Bioware, will allow the player to explore a landscape of primeval beauty, confront the dangers you find, and grow in power with every step.

There are rumors abound that this game will be some type of MMO and the game has a release date of spring 2018, but please comment below as this one is personally driving me crazy!

11 – Sea of Thieves

For some strange reason, this game instantly reminded me of Assassins Creed Black Flag, that may only be my feeling but given Black Flag was a personal favorite or mine, that cant be a bad thing.

Sea of Thieves is set around your life on a pirate ship and will have players working together to loot treasure and fight sea battles.

The game is set to release in early 2018 and will feature the ability to battle both on the land and explore the depths of the ocean.

It also appears to have a built in story-line and a questing system.

 

 

10 – PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds

Game creator Brendan Greene announced the news at Microsoft’s E3 conference on Sunday that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will launch as an Xbox One console exclusive.

The game, which is currently one of the most popular among PC players on the streaming website Twitch.TV allows up to 99 players to fight against each other in a giant-island battle to the death.

Players are dropped onto a single, desolate world where they try to survive as a solo entity, in a duo, or as a four-person squad.

A range of timers and shrinking zones forces players into a central circle over time, which makes its 15-20 minute battles somewhat challenging.

No concrete release date for Battlegrounds is set, however during the briefing it was confirmed to be sometime in 2017.

 

 

9 – Assassins Creed Origins

The next installment of Ubisoft’s franchise sees you landing in the large open plan world of Ancient Egypt.

Assassins Creed Origins sees you playing as Bayek, an Egyptian sheriff and the world will feature 4 large open plan regions with many quests and a large story-line.

The title has been in development for 4 years and will feature some added RPG style game-play including leveling up, loot drops, and customization abilities.

Another part of the reveal video shows us the Hawk style eye in the sky ability that lets you set paths and track enemies from the air.

Combat has been enhanced in the game and Ubisoft has said that fighting multiple enemies will be much easier and more enjoyable overall.

The game is set for release on the 27th October 2017 but will be available to play on Xbox One X and other platforms.

 

 

8 – Forza Motorsport 7

One of the more anticipated games that Xbox One X players will be looking to purchase this year is Forza Motorsport 7.

The game is set to feature over 700 cars at launch and players will be able to play on 30 beautifully created tracks with more than 200 different configurations.

The weather is now Dynamic and can change with every race both day and night and completely randomly.

The horizon has the ability to shimmer on some of the hotter tracks, with the game utilizing the massive graphical power of the Xbox One X.

The game also features characters with a catalog of racing suits, helmets, gloves and all of this can obtain realistic damage including scuffs and even smudges on the visor.

Forza Motorsport 7 has a release date of October 3rd.

 

 

7 – Metro Exodus

Described as simply stunning by several game reviews, Metro Exodus was revealed in a world wide trailer at E3 2017 and will be launching on the Xbox One X.

The game features a mixture of survival shooting game-play against large beasts and stunning 4K environments.

The game picks up from Metro: Last Light’s ending and players start in the Russian City of Moscow.

Later you will be able to explore a vast open world as you attempt to discover a new place to live in the East.

Metro Exodus will be released in 2018.

 

 

6 – State of Decay 2

The sequel to State of Decay is almost upon us, however we still don’t yet have a release date at the time of this video.

The new title has been announced for Xbox One X and other platforms, however we can expect to wait until at least 2018 to play the game.

Microsoft Studios did release a trailer for the game and revealed it will be a “Play Anywhere” title.

The game features a journey of survival, fighting both zombies and the drama of being a non-infected human while featuring stunning 4K game-play.

It centers on a group of survivors who were abandoned by the military and have to work together to keep the hoards at bay.

 

 

5 – The Darwin Project

A new multiplayer survival game from Scavengers Studio launching exclusively on Xbox One, The Darwin Project set in a cartoon-like world.

Taking place in the Canadian Rockies, it is an asymmetrical combat game featuring players with different sets of powers hunting each other.

Players appear to start with primitive melee and projectile weapons, however the dashboard contains a suite of tools, unlocked through a progression system that will help determine the outcome of the battle.

It will also feature some kind of interactivity through Microsoft’s Mixer streaming platform.

 

 

4 – Minecraft 4K

Mine craft is officially going 4K and to the delight of the audience at E3 2017, the large update will indeed be free.

The Super Duper Graphics Pack update adds more realistic textures, light effects, and graphics to the popular building game and will also add 4K resolution.

There was also a second update announced, called The Better Together Update which adds a new community marketplace for players to sell creations and new in-game servers to play together.

Cross platform play between different platforms, including Xbox One, Windows 10, the Nintendo Switch, and a variety of mobile devices was also announced in a world first.

 

 

3 – Dragonball FighterZ

Appearing to launch with high speed battles and flashy moves, this new Dragonball Z game appears to be a 2.5 dimensional fighting game.

The trailer revealed a number of included characters from the cartoon series including Goku, Vegeta, Perfect Cell, and Majin Buu, but today’s reveal also showcased Super Saiyan 3 Goku.

The game is set for release soon and is currently playable at E3 2017 ad will launch on Xbox, PlayStation and PC.

 

 

2 – Middle Earth – Shadow of War

Following on from its predecessor, Shadow of Mordor, Middle Earth – Shadow of War looks a mighty impressive game with the ability to recruit subjects to your cause.

It’s also been revealed that the game will feature seven new orc tribes with the ability to learn backstories from the orc characters themselves.

Combat was also woven into this game-play video, where Talion showcased a leaping bow attack as well as the involving melee fighting mixed with agile dodging.

The video showed a large army assaulting a stronghold held by one of Sauron’s overlords.

The game features a massive open world filled with different tribes that are just waiting to be discovered.

Middle-earth – Shadow of War is scheduled for release on October 10, 2017 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

 

 

1 – Call of Duty WW2

Its official, Call of Duty is going back to its roots and is bringing you stunning 4K world war 2 game-play set on the beaches of Normandy and the D-Day battles across Europe.

The game is set to feature 3 amazing game modes including Campaign, Multiplayer and Co-Operative.

Multiplayer marks a return to original, boots-on-the ground Call of Duty game-play featuring authentic weapons and traditional run-and-gun action to immerse you in a vast array of World War II–themed locations.

Co-Operative mode unleashes a new and original story in a standalone game experience full of unexpected, adrenaline-pumping moments.

Pre-ordering the Digital deluxe edition grants you access to the private beta, a Season Pass and More.

The games release date is set for Friday, 3 November 2017.
