Sitting on the shores of the Caribbean island of Antigua this massive home is a place for Oprah to unwind while on a relaxing holiday.

The house overlooks the waterfront and is surrounded by large palm trees and walls to keep un-wanted guests well away.

It’s thought the home has several bedrooms and an entertainment complex so she can mingle with her celebrity friends.

The price paid for the property is currently unknown but could be somewhere in the region of $28 Million Dollars.

10 – Telluride Home

If you want to spend $14 million dollars in style then why not buy a home like Oprah in Telluride.

This 8700 square foot private lodge is so massive it has a wine cellar that can hold 1,600 bottles of wine.

It features 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, seven person hot-tub, personal sauna and a faux mining car that connects the house with a nearby ski trail.

There’s a state of the art kitchen and walkways that are suspended high above the forest floor.


9 – Douglasville Home

With 4 bedrooms and 2 half bathrooms this massive property sits on nearly a third of an acre of land and is both private and in a partially wooded area.

Oprah purchased the home for her half-sister Patricia Lofton who she met in 2010 and its thought she paid roughly $500,000 dollars for the home.

8 – The Promised Land

Named in honor of Martin Luthor King, this house is one of the most famous real estate properties owned by the queen of media.

The 42 acre Neo-Georgian style estate is located in Montecito, California and was reported to have cost around $52 Million Dollars.

After extensive renovations to the property its thought this price has now sky-rocketed to a whopping $88 Million Dollars.

The house features 6 bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, 10 fireplaces a gourmet kitchen, 2 private theaters, massive wine cellar, tennis court, large barn, ponds, pools and an orchard and even a man-made lake.

Sitting on the grounds outside is a large swimming pool and a tea-house with neighbors such as Ellen DeGeneres and former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, novelist Sue Grafton, and tennis legend Jimmy Connors

7 – Hawaii Home

Described as the perfect 21st century farmhouse, this home was once considered for demolition.

It has since been transformed into what you see today and the makeover was completed by Ellie, her Hawaiian decorator.

It’s not known what was paid for the house but you can bet it would definitely sell for more than it was bought for today.

She also purchased an additional 63 acres of land near Maui’s Hamoa Beach several years later.


6 – Gulfstream G650

If you’re going to buy a private jet and have billions in the bank then take a look at Oprah’s $70 million dollar Gulfstream G650.

This twin engine business jet is considered to be the best money can buy and its thought Oprah has had the interior completely overhauled to her taste.

The billionaire also owns a Bombardier Global Express which is thought to have an on-board shower.


5 – Chicago Home

Another one of Oprah’s homes which recently hit the market in Chicago is this swanky Streeterville condo which she paid $5.6 Million dollars for.

The home is spread over 5000 square feet and has 2 foyers, formal dining room, solarium, butler’s party, wine room, three bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.

Oprah never lived at the property and its thought she rented it out to several people for around $15,000 dollars a month.


4 – Manhattan Penthouse

Located in the 36th floor of the luxurious Place 57 residential tower, Oprah is selling or has sold this amazing property for around $8 million dollars.

The building features round the clock doorman, concierge service, children’s playrooms and resident’s only conference rooms.

Spread over an area of 2,500 square feet, the lavish apartment features three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a dining room, a living room, chute-like entrance hall and a large kitchen that features flat-fronted cabinetry and charcoal-colored counter tops.

The master suite has a Jacuzzi hot tub; three walk in closets and a power shower.

There is even a 700 foot terrace that offers amazing views of te city and a place to chill out on those warm days.



3 – Water Town Place

While Oprah has now sold most if not all of her property in Chicago, this condo, located in Water Town Place was worth a cool $4.6 Million dollars.

Its thought the condo was put together from 4 different units over the years and covered an area of 9,625-square feet.

While few currently exist inside the home, its thought to feature 2 amazing kitchens, several spiral staircases, a large master bedroom, 4 smaller bedrooms and amazing views of the city.


2 – Fisher Island Home

While it was sold in 2008, this amazing condo went for $1.1 million dollars and was definitely well worth the money.

This amazing home has open rooms with spectacular ocean views, that can be seen through walls of sliding glass.

Gorgeous design, inviting layout and fantastic features combine to achieve a supreme level of plush waterfront, tropical living and the interior features a master bedroom and amazing kitchen.


1 – Art Collection

Oprah recently sold a large part of her art collection and it was the first time the world got a glimpse pf her decorative art and furniture collection.

Over 500 English, French and continental furniture, decorative arts, paintings, prints, drawings, crystal, silver and other memorabilia went on sale.

Several major paintings went on sale including one by Hovsep Pushman titled The Little Mother for $35,000 to $40,000 and Richard Edward Miller‘s The Red Scarf for $80,000 to $120,000.

More recently in one of the biggest private art deals of 2016 she sold a painting by Austrian artist Gustav Klimt for $150 million dollars to an unnamed Chinese buyer.
