Top 10 Best Ships In The Eve Online Universe
Hello everyone and welcome back to Gamescast, I’m will from Vidello and today were taking a look at the Top 10 Best Ships In The Eve Online Universe.
10. Tornado Minmatar Battlecruiser
Developed in record time and total secrecy, the Tornado is a testament to Minmatar engineering.
Modelled loosely on flying-wing designs of ancient planetary bombers, the Tornado supports multiple large projectile turrets, dealing massive damage while maintaining a small signature radius.
The Eve Online Tornado was made to do one thing and one thing only: blow the ever loving crap out of anything that is unfortunately preoccupied with other threats.
9. Naga Caldari Battlecruiser
The Naga is the Caldari Navy’s entry in the “see who can fit the biggest stick on the smallest ship” competition, and it certainly makes an impression.
As with the other attack battle-cruisers, the Naga has a tissue paper tank, but reaps the benefits of Battleship-grade weaponry.
Of the four, the Naga is by far the easiest to fit for sniper combat due to the natural range of rail-guns coupled with the optimal range hull bonus.
8. Abbadon Amarr Battleship –
The Abaddon class ship is a celestial tool of destruction.
It is designed to enter combat from the outset, targeting enemies at range and firing salvo after salvo at them, and to remain intact on the battlefield until every heretic in sight has been torn to shreds.
7. Megathron Gallante Battleship
The Megathron has established itself as one of the most feared and respected battleships around.
Since its first appearance almost two decades ago it has seen considerable service in the troublesome regions on the outskirts of the Federation, helping to expand and defend Gallentean influence there.
6. Phoenix Caldari Dreadnought
In terms of Caldari design philosophy, the Phoenix is a chip off the old block.
With a heavily tweaked missile interface, targeting arrays of surpassing quality and the most advanced shield systems to be found anywhere, it is considered the strongest long-range installation attacker out there.
5. Naglfar Minmatar Dreadnought
Boasting an impressive versatility in fire-power options, the Naglfar is capable of holding its own against opponents of all sizes and shapes.
While its defences don’t go to extremes as herculean as those of its counterparts, the uniformity of resilience – coupled with the sheer amount of devastation it can dish out – make this beast an invaluable addition to any fleet.
4. Avatar Amarr Titan
The Avatar is a popular choice for Titan pilots due to it having 8 low slots, allowing it to fit the heaviest armour tank in its class.
3. Erebus Gallante Titan
Owing to the immense amount of resources required to create, maintain and oufit one, the Erebus can only be feasibly fielded by very large null-sec alliances.
Merely getting to the controls of one of these beasts takes almost a year of training, and that’s not including being able to fit its skyscraper-sized guns.
2. The Leviathan Caldari Titan
The Leviathan is notorious for being one of most resilient ships in the game, contesting the Avatar, Wyvern and Aeon for the top spot.
Officer, faction and dead-space modules can boost the resistances of this ship to frankly disgusting levels, enabling it to mount a terrifying buffer tank.
Thanks to this, and the fact that armour Titans are far more common than shield Titans in Eve Online and few Leviathans have died compared to other Titans.
1. Ragnarok Minmatar Titan
The Ragnarok is the Minmatar Titan. It is bonused for Capital Projectile Turrets and gives its fleet a reduction to signature radius.
The Ragnarok is considered to have one of the best Doomsday devices, due to the speed at which the damage from the Gjallarhorn is applied.
The Ragnarok is also the fastest and most agile Titan in the game when in a shield nano fit. However, its respectable DPS and squishy tank means that it usually primaries first in Titan brawls
