Project Utopia Floating House Concept Is Facinating
The world is full of floating living space projects arm but there are none more fascinating than Project Utopia.
The round structure could easily be mistaken for an oil rig at a distance, however that could not be further from the truth.
Project Utopia is designed in conjunction with BMT Nigel Gee and measures some 330 ft (100 m) in length and breadth, spans 11 decks and has the equivalent floorspace of a present-day cruise liner – enough space to create an entire micro-nation.
Just like some of the other designs for floating spaces, Project Utopia would feature a complete renewable energy design and be powered by on-board computers that would control everything from water temperature to the heat in the air.
The floating city would feature its own dock complete with lifts that transport you up to the decks above and would feature everything from shopping malls to hotels and even a cinema.
There is currently no prices on living accommodation at the site as it’s still in the early stages of design but you could easily be looking at a 7 figure sum if you wanted to live here on a permanent basis.
